“AMERICAN IDOL FINALE FLYAWAY”
OFFICIAL RULES

HOW TO ENTER, PARTICIPATE AND WIN:
The “American Idol Finale Flyaway” contest will begin Monday, April 28, 2008 and end on Monday, May 12, 2008.

There are two ways to win.

ONE:
To participate, beginning Monday, April 28 through Friday, May 9, 2008, watch FOX Fort Wayne each weeknight between 7pm and 8:00pm to receive the “Idol of the Day” for the next weekday.

Listen to Majic in the Morning beginning Tuesday, April 29, 2008 through Friday, May 12, 2008 between 7am and 7:30am when they ask for the “Idol of the Day” that was given the previous evening on FOX Fort Wayne be caller 9 at (260) 467-9500, *951 for Centennial Wireless Customers or One Communications toll free 1-877-951-WAJI to correctly identify the “Idol of the Day” and win $100 cash, and a pair of tickets to the American Idols Concert Tour at the Memorial Coliseum on September 10, 2008, plus be qualified for the grand prize: round trip airfare for two to Hollywood, a 4 day/ 3 night double occupancy hotel accommodations and two tickets to the American Idol Finale airing on Tuesday, May 20 and the American Idol Results show Wednesday, May 21, 2008.

There will be one daily chance to play.

TWO:
Listen to Majic 95.1, WAJI each weekday beginning Monday, April 28 through Friday, May 9, 2008 between 9am and 5pm for the “American Idol judges.” When you hear them be caller 9 at (260) 467-9500, *951 for Centennial Wireless Customers or One Communications toll free 1-877-951-WAJI  and win $100 cash, and a pair of tickets to the American Idols Concert Tour at the Memorial Coliseum on September 10, 2008, plus be qualified for the grand prize.

There will be a maximum of 2 chances daily to play.

There will be a total of 10 contest days and 10 contest episodes with Majic in the Morning.

There will be a total of 10 contest days and 20 contest episodes each weekday from 9am-5pm.

GRAND PRIZE GIVEAWAY:
All qualifiers must listen at approximately 8:00am on Monday, May 12, 2008 when a random drawing will be conducted from all eligible entries to determine the grand prize winner. The selected entrant will have one (1) minute from when their name is announced to call and claim their prize. If they do not call within the allotted time, they will forfeit the prize and an alternate entrant will be selected. This process will continue until one winner for the American Idol Trip is determined.

In the event that all of the entrants have been announced and a winner for the American Idol trip is not determined, then everyone will forfeit the American Idol trip and it will become the property of WAJI.

WAJI is not responsible for telephone service outages, delays, busy signals or telephone malfunctions and any other difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her call during this contest. When asked to call, please dial carefully.

ELIGIBILITY RESTRICITIONS:
The contest is open to legal residents 18 years of age and older and who reside in the WAJI listening area. Employees and family members of Sarkes Tarzian, Inc., Fox Broadcasting Company, Fox Group, Inc., American Idol Productions, Inc., Conference and Travel, and employees of other radio stations in the Fort Wayne Metro area are not eligible to participate and win. Family members are defined as parents, children, spouses, in-laws, those in spouse-like relationships, and siblings (including those in step and half relations when living in the same household.) Anyone who has worked for or interned with Sarkes Tarzian, Inc. is not eligible to participate or win.

The Grand Prize winners for Disney and Dollars are ineligible to participate in this contest.

PRIZE:
The qualifying prize will be $100 cash, and a pair of tickets to the American Idols Concert Tour at the Memorial Coliseum on September 10, 2008 valued approximately: $170.00

The grand prize winner will receive round trip airfare for two to Hollywood, a 4 day/ 3 night double occupancy hotel accommodations and two tickets to the American Idol Finale airing on Tuesday, May 20 and the American Idol Results show Wednesday, May 21, 2008.

The approximate retail value of the trip is $1,300; actual value will be determined at the time of booking.

Travel arrangements will be made through Conference and Travel.

The trip is supplied by Conference and Travel in exchange for promotional consideration.  

The American Idol Finale and Results show tickets have been provided to WAJI by Fox Fort Wayne, in exchange for promotional consideration.

The American Idols Tour Tickets have been provided by AEG Live in exchange for promotional consideration.

Odds of winning depend on the number of telephone calls received.

Winner and guest must travel together on the same itinerary. Winner’s traveling companion must also be a legal resident of the United States and 8 years of age or older.

Contest prizes are non-transferable and will be awarded to the person who entered the contest. Prizes may not be substituted or redeemed for cash.

The prize will be awarded to the winner immediately after they are determined eligible by WAJI on Monday, May 12, 2008.

The winner will be contacted within 1 hour from when the initial phone call took place and they will be informed of all details and will be advised to supply all required information (name, address, telephone, birth date Social Security number, etc.) for the winner and the traveling companion by 5:00pm on Monday, May 12, 2008.
 
Failure to provide the necessary information to WAJI within the allotted time stated above will result in the winner forfeiting the prize, and it will become the property of WAJI. There will not be another winner selected.

CONDITIONS:
WAJI will provide 4 day/3 night hotel accommodations and airline arrangements through Conference and Travel, plus airport ground transfers to hotel. All other expenses, including meals and other hotel expenses will be the responsibility of the winner.

WAJI reserves the right to cancel this promotion at any time prior to conducting the Grand Prize give away on Monday, May 12, 2008.

Payment of all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners will be reported to the IRS on IRS Form 1099 or the equivalent.
By participating in this contest, entrants agree that WAJI, Conference and Travel, Fox Broadcasting Company, Fox Group, Inc. and American Idol Productions, Inc., participating franchisees, vendors, retailers, suppliers advertising and promotion agencies and their affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, agents, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any liability, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize or participation in the contest or in any contest related activity.

The winner and the traveling companion or the legal guardian of the traveling companion will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, and a Liability and Travel Release upon acceptance of the prize. Pursuant to the Liability and Travel Release, the winner and the traveling companion agree to hold WAJI, Sarkes Tarzian, Inc., WFFT Fox Fort Wayne, and Conference and Travel, and the respective officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents, and representatives of each of them, harmless from and against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.

Except where legally prohibited, by acceptance of prize winners grant (and agree to confirm that grant in writing) permission for WAJI, Conference and Travel, Fox Broadcasting Company, Fox Group, Inc. and American Idol Productions, Inc., participating franchisees, radio stations, vendors, retailers, suppliers advertising and promotional agencies, their affiliates, parents, subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies, to use his/her name, photograph, voice and/or likeness, for advertising or publicity without additional compensation, consideration or consent.

WAJI makes no warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the nature of the prize awarded. If this contest is not capable of running as planned due to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of WAJI which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this contest, WAJI reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who WAJI believes has tampered with the entry process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest. The use of any device to automate the entry process is prohibited.

Any aspect of these rules, including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater value, can be changed at the discretion of WAJI, and such change(s) will become effective upon on-air or other appropriate announcement. No purchase necessary.

The contest is void where prohibited.  Failure to comply with any of these Official Rules, noncompliance with any of the foregoing, or if the prize notification is not returned, may result in a contestant’s disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected at the sole discretion of WAJI.
