MAJIC’S TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALL GAME CONTEST
OFFICIAL RULES

HOW TO ENTER:
The “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” contest will begin on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 and end on Monday, May 26, 2008.

To participate in this contest, go to participating area retailers beginning Tuesday, May 6, 2008 through Monday, May 26, 2008 and complete an entry blank including your name, phone number and birth date at a “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” location for a chance to win a family four pack of Fort Wayne Wizards Box Seats to that participating business and also be qualified for the grand prize: a trip for four to Minneapolis, Minnesota over Father’s Day Weekend. Trip includes: roundtrip airfare for four from Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Minneapolis, Minnesota, 3 day/ 2 night stay, and four tickets to see the Minnesota Twins play on June 21, 2008.

Listen to WAJI between Tuesday, May 6, 2008 and Friday, May 23, 2008 for various locations to sign up to win.

One entry per person in a 24 hour period at each participating retailer.

ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS:
The contest is open to all WAJI listeners who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of WAJI, Sarkes Tarzian, Inc., participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Fort Wayne Metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win in this contest.

Immediate family members are parents, children, in-laws, spouses, those in spouse-like relationships, and siblings (including those in step and half relationships when living in the same household). Anyone who has been employed or interned with Sarkes Tarzian, Inc. is also ineligible.

Eligible participants can win a WAJI contest only once every 30 days and a prize valued at $600.00 or more only once every four months. Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest.

PRIZES:

       

The approximate value of the grand prize is: $2,600.00

The maximum number of Wizards winners will depend on the number of participating “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” locations. There will be one winner per location.

There will be a maximum of one grand prize winner in this contest.

Contest prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash.

SELECTION OF WINNERS:
Registration for this contest will begin on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 through Monday, May 26, 2008.

On Tuesday, May 27, 2008 all entry boxes will be collected from participating “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” locations and one name will be drawn from each location who will win four Fort Wayne Wizards Box Seats to that participating location.

WAJI will contact all Fort Wayne Wizards Box Seat winners on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 after 12:00pm by phone. If the winner(s) cannot be contacted or does not return the call within 5 business days from when the initial phone call was placed, then they will forfeit the prize and it will become the property of WAJI.

All Fort Wayne Wizards Box Seat winners must claim their prize by coming to the WAJI Studios: 347 West Berry Street, Suite 417, Fort Wayne, IN. between 8am and 5pm Monday through Friday within 30 days from the date won, otherwise the winner will forfeit the prize and it will become the property of WAJI.

The grand prize will be given away on Thursday, May 29, 2008. All entries received from all participating “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” locations will be combined including the Fort Wayne Wizards Box Seat winners. A WAJI staff member will attempt to notify the winner by phone on Thursday, May 29, 2008 after 9:00am. If the winner cannot be contacted within five business days from when the initial phone call was placed then that entrant will forfeit the prize and it will become the property of WAJI. There will not be an alternate entrant selected for this contest.

The Grand Prize winner must either come to the WAJI Studios or provide WAJI with a fax number to complete all necessary paperwork. All paperwork must be completed within 5 days from the date won, and must be completed before the winner can claim the prize.

Decisions of station management with the respect to this contest are final.

CONDITIONS:
The grand prize winner and each of their traveling companions must be able to travel on Friday, June 20, 2008 through Sunday, June 22, 2008.

The Fort Wayne Wizards Box Seat Winners will be given tickets to a specific game during the 2008 Season.

Payment of all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners will be reported to the IRS on the IRS Form 1099 or the equivalent.

By participating in the contest, the winners agree to allow their name, voice, and/or likeness to be used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest for a period of one year without additional financial or other compensation.

Contest winners are required to sign a Receipt verifying eligibility prior to acceptance of any prize of more than nominal value. Before claiming a prize, contest winner and each of their guests or traveling companions, are also required to sign a Travel Release, if the prize to be awarded includes the provision of transportation. The winner will also be required to sign a Receipt for Prize and Award if the prize is $600.00 or greater. Pursuant to the Travel Release, the grand prize winner and each of their traveling companions will agree to hold WAJI, Sarkes Tarzian, Inc., Northwest Airlines, Fort Wayne International Airport, and the respective officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless from and against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
 
These rules are subject to the interpretation of WAJI. Any aspect of these rules, including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater value, can be changed at the discretion of WAJI, and such change(s) will become effective upon on-air or other appropriate announcement.

No purchase necessary. The contest is void where prohibited.

Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification, at the sole discretion of WAJI.

WAJI is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of any prize.
